The quickest link is the People Mover, an automated shuttle train that runs from Tronchetto to Piazzale Roma in about three minutes, stopping at the Marittima cruise terminal on the way. From Piazzale Roma you can walk into the historic centre or continue by vaporetto.

The Tronchetto water-bus stop is right next to the car park. Line 2 connects it with Piazzale Roma, the railway station, Rialto and San Marco, so you can reach the sights straight from the water.
Tip: the People Mover is the fastest way into town — about three minutes to Piazzale Roma.
Water taxi and Lido ferry
If you'd rather go straight to your hotel, water taxis wait at Tronchetto. The car ferry to the Lido (line 17) also leaves from here.
