Tronchetto is an island at the Venice end of the Ponte della Libertà, the road bridge that links the mainland with the city. It's one of the last places you can reach by car, and the car park is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
The route
Take the Venezia exit off the motorway and follow the signs across the Ponte della Libertà. Shortly before Piazzale Roma, keep right and follow the signs for Tronchetto to the car park.
Tip: have your booking confirmation ready when you arrive — on your phone or printed out.
Height limit: 2.10 m
The online tariff and the car parks reserved for bookings are for vehicles up to 210 cm high. Roof boxes and bike racks count towards the height. Vans, motorhomes and other vehicles over 2.10 m can't be booked here.
